The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the “You and K40” bookcase marked the opening of a meaningful project donated by alumni from Cohorts K40 and K42. This valuable gift reflects the deep affection, cherished memories, and lasting connection that generations of HUCE alumni have maintained with their alma mater, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.

In the warming days towarding the 60th-anniversary celebration of the Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE), the HUCE Library received dozens of valuable books in the final week of June 2026, donated by faculty members from the HUCE Former Lecturers Association.

Morning of July 3, 2026, the Library of the Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) held a ceremony on the fourth floor of the Library Building to receive the textbook *Silicate Industrial Furnaces* (Lò công nghiệp Silicat), co-authored and donated by Dr. Nguyen Doan Binh (lead author) and Dr. Hoang Vinh Long.

During the summer, when the reading room is quiet and empty of patrons, library staff set to work on a task that is unassuming yet vitally important: counting, classifying, and organizing the thousands of books, textbooks, and magazines housed in the stacks.

On the morning of June 3, 2026, the Library of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) held a book donation and handover ceremony from Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hong Tien, former Director General of the Technical Infrastructure Agency under the Ministry of Construction and a leading expert in the fields of technical infrastructure and urban development.

On May 25, despite the scorching early-summer heat and the busy exam season, members of the HUCE Book and Action Club (BNA) made their way to the Library to conduct a survey and gather students’ feedback on the quality of the Library’s services.

In celebration of the 60th anniversary of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (1966–2026), under the direction of the University’s Board of Management, the Library, in collaboration with the University Trade Union and Youth Union, organized the photo contest entitled “I Love HUCE.”

On January 22, 2026, the seminar “Nuclear Energy: International Experience and Practical Lessons for Vietnam” was held at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE), one of the key higher education institutions selected by the Government to participate in the Human Resource Development Program for the Nuclear Power Industry.

On December 23, 2025, the Library of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering welcomed Associate Professor Dr. Le Cong Su, a lecturer at Hanoi University, who visited the Library and donated books.
