The “I Love HUCE” photo contest was launched with the aim of inspiring pride, love, and a strong sense of attachment among all staff members, lecturers, employees, and students toward their university – a place that not only nurtures knowledge and aspirations but also preserves countless cherished memories throughout its 60-year history of establishment and development.

“I Love HUCE” was more than simply an artistic competition. It was an emotional journey that captured memorable moments, creative perspectives, and sincere affection for HUCE expressed by the participating photographers.

The contest was open to all staff members, lecturers, employees, and students currently working and studying at the University. Entries were required to showcase the beauty of and affection for Hanoi University of Civil Engineering through various themes, including campus landscapes, workplaces, lecture halls, the Library, teaching and learning activities, friendships, and teacher–student relationships across the University campus.

Following the launch of the contest, numerous impressive entries were submitted, demonstrating the creativity and dedication of the participants. Through each photograph, familiar spaces at HUCE were presented from fresh and emotionally engaging perspectives, contributing to a vivid and diverse portrait of the University in the hearts of its community members.

The submitted photographs not only complied with the contest’s formal requirements but also strongly reflected the theme “I LOVE HUCE” through meaningful content, harmonious composition, and positive values with broad appeal. An online voting round was also held on the Library’s Fanpage from April 10 to April 17, 2026, attracting considerable attention and engagement from the HUCE community.

In recognition of the quality and diversity of the entries, the Judging Panel worked seriously and carefully reviewed, analyzed, and discussed the submissions to select outstanding entries and groups of works that demonstrated both aesthetic value and meaningful content.

The awards recognized the creativity, dedication, and affection that the participants expressed toward the University.

The “I LOVE HUCE” photo contest was not only a meaningful artistic activity but also contributed to enriching the University’s visual resources for communication and media purposes. At the same time, it helped spread a strong sense of pride and love for Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.
