The solemn atmosphere at the ceremony

The event was attended by the Library’s leadership, the leadership of the Faculty of Building Materials, the authors, representatives of the relevant specialized groups, and staffs from the Library’s departments.

During the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Doan Binh discussed the book's compilation process and its significance. He noted that the idea for the textbook had been in the works for years, driven by a desire to create a comprehensive learning resource that meets students' academic and research needs. He expressed hope that the book would provide learners with access to in-depth knowledge and thanked the Library for organizing such a formal, thoughtful, and meaningful book presentation event.

Dr. Hoang Vinh Long shared his pleasure in continuing to collaborate with the Library on expanding the learning resources. He shared the opinion that the textbook would enrich the Library's information collection and serve as a knowledge foundation to support students in their studies and research. He also mentioned that the expert team plans to compile and introduce more new titles in the near future to meet the University's educational and research requirements.

At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Nhan Hoa, Head of the Construction Materials Technology specialist group, noted that the authors are experienced lecturers who actively contribute to the creation and development of specialized academic resources. He expressed his delight that the authors' efforts and dedication have been recognized through the Library's warm and respectful reception, thereby motivating them to continue their work in compiling textbooks and specialized monographs.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Trong Lam, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Construction Materials, expressed his gratitude to the two authors for the dedication they poured into completing this valuable scientific work. He regarded the material as highly valuable, noting that it not only effectively supports the university's academic curriculum but also serves as a useful reference for engineers working in enterprises and manufacturing facilities. With its foundational knowledge and high applicability, the textbook is expected to have a widespread impact and meet the practical needs of various professional fields.

On behalf of the university, Dr. Nguyen Trung Thanh, Director of the Library, expressed deep gratitude to the authors for entrusting the Library with their valuable scholarly works. He emphasized that each donated book not only enriches the university's learning resources but also reflects the faculty members' sense of responsibility, dedication, and affection for generations of students. To conclude the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Trung Thanh respectfully presented bouquets to the authors in recognition and appreciation of their valuable contributions to developing learning resources that support education and scientific research at the National University of Civil Engineering.
