To contribute to the implementation of the school development strategy, in addition to the comprehensive development of the teaching staff and management personnel, the development of administrative staff within the school also needs attention. This article evaluates the current situation of the development of administrative staff at Dong Thap University according to job positions, based on a survey of 107 subjects, including 40 management officials and 67 administrative staff, along with interviews with 4 management officials and 4 administrative staff. The survey results were processed using a four-level scale to calculate the average score and percentage, which were then analyzed and assessed. The research results indicate that the development of administrative staff according to job positions has been prioritized by the university and has achieved relatively good results. However, there are still some limitations in the areas of planning, training, fostering, evaluating, assigning, mobilizing, and utilizing administrative staff that the university needs to continue to improve and refine. This current situation provides an important foundation for management entities to propose appropriate measures to enhance the quality of administrative staff, thereby contributing to the school's development goals.
